Beryl Gardinant, a self-proclaimed “humble old man,” is a sword instructor at his dojo in a rural, backwater village. Went in with zero expectations. Honestly, the soundtrack carries entire scenes on its own. My only gripe is that the exposition gets heavy around the halfway mark. Subbed is the way to go on this one.

Finally caught up with this one. Honestly, the world building is subtle but consistent. Going straight onto my rewatch list.

My friend kept pushing me to watch this. Honestly, the animation in the fight scenes is on another level. My only gripe is that some of the CG shots stick out. Subbed is the way to go on this one.
