The second season of Mahoutsukai no Yome. Chise was able to accept Elias and herself, if not necessarily everything about her situation. After Cartaphilus fell back into a slumber that would not last forever, Chise was able to go back to her regular life. Then she receives an invitation from a mutual aid organization for mages called the College. Under the British Library exists a secret society of mages. Encounters and interactions with people are about to open some new doors. This is a story about saving yourself to save another.

Rewatching this before the new season. Honestly, the animation in the fight scenes is on another level. My only gripe is that the exposition gets heavy around the halfway mark. Would watch a second season immediately.

Took me a while to get around to this. Honestly, the voice acting sells every emotional beat. My only gripe is that a couple of side characters never really land. Going straight onto my rewatch list.

Went in with zero expectations. Honestly, the background art is genuinely gorgeous. My only gripe is that the comedy beats don't always fit the tone. Subbed is the way to go on this one.

Rewatching this before the new season. Honestly, the soundtrack carries entire scenes on its own. Not perfect, but I had a great time.
